Well, it's a long story of a long journey and it is not over yet. 

 

Art has been there for me since my grandmother, and I panted pottery in her kitchen in early 1970's Gothenburg, Sweden.

After many years of making and teaching art I have realized that "art" and in this case, clay is a gift from earth that all cultures shares. It unites us.  The practice of community-based clay processing is a vehicle for culture to be passed along and spread. Clay predates agriculture by some many thousands of years. Processing and heat treating of clay has been, and still is, a major employer.  Almost everyone you know and will ever meet has a personal experience with the medium.
